Foto Tallinn 2021 announces participants

Art fair Foto Tallinn 2021, taking place from September 2nd to 5th at Kai Art Center, will present the latest works by 37 Estonian and international artists. Foto Tallinn is dedicated to introducing a wide range of the newest contemporary photography. As one of the main events of the 6th Tallinn Photomonth Biennial, the fair offers exhibiting artists, galleries and project spaces an opportunity to introduce their works to a diverse audience and grow their network of professional contacts.

 

Foto Tallinn 2021 will present artists, galleries and project spaces based in BelgiumCôte D’IvoireEstoniaFinland, FranceGermanyGreat BritainLatviaLithuaniaNorwaySpainThe Netherlands and South Africa.

Fair participants were selected by an international jury comprising Shoair Mavlian (GB | Photoworks), Sawako Fukai (JP | SW_), Karin Laansoo (EE | Kai Art Center/Estonian Contemporary Art Center) and the curator of this years’ fair Isabella van Marle (NL).

 

In addition to introducing fair participants, Foto Tallinn is proud to announce its partnership with LuminorLuminor will acquire sustainability-themed artworks for a value of approximately 3000 euro from the fair selection and will organise a webinar on art investments during the fair days. Along with Luminor, Foto Tallinn 2021 partners are Sunly and Artproof.

 

Foto Tallinn 2021, organised collaboratively by the Estonian Union of Photography Artists and the Estonian Contemporary Art Development Center, is one of the main events of the 6th Tallinn Photomonth contemporary art biennial taking place between September 1 and October 17, 2021.
